Description
Elizabeth Mbitijana is the daughter of painter Kathleen Ngala from Camel Camp. Elizabeth paints her Dreaming – the Bush Plum and its effects on her country. She often depicts the topography in dottings of all colours and then builds a fine layer of white over these.
Her work is similar to that of her Auntie Angeline Ngala – both artists paint fine layers of white over colour create a multi-dimensional effect to reveal the Bush Plum (Ankwekety) and her country of Utopia.
